As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you have already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with AquaMarine Diving - Bali to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program. You can begin studying the diving theory as soon as you want, in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, and so be fully-prepared to meet with your AquaMarine PADI instructor when you arrive in Bali! Anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. You only need be able to swim 200 metres! If you are 8-11yrs old, or have a child between these ages, try the PADI Bubblemaker program or, for 12-14yr olds, AquaMarine has the PADI Junior Open Water program available. PADI

Through the
course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive
equipment and techniques. PADI’s
Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide and is earned by
completing 5 academic sessions, 5 pool sessions to practise scuba skills and 4
open water dives (on Bali’s beautiful reefs and maybe the Tulamben wreck). Because it is performance-based, you get as much time as you
need to practise your new skills prior to certification, although we generally
schedule 4 days. Above all,
