This sea temple is perched on a rock at the sea with a spectacular sunset view. This
temple has a very interesting history.
After the fall of Majapahit, the last Hindu kingdom in Java, many priests moved to Bali.
One of them was Nirartha, the founder of many Hindu temples and enunciated Hindu. He found
a big rock at the sea, he preached there and suggested the Hindu followers to built a
temple on that big rock.
ULUWATU
Perched on the cliff top of Peninsula in Uluwatu, dedicated to the sea spirits. Many
visitors come to this temple to see the exotic sun set view.
PURA JAYAPRANA
